How you get paid on Moppsy

Many cleaners are new to apps. This short video shows the full flow: booking → customer pays by card or cash after the job → you finish → your share is paid out. Stripe is how card payouts reach you — not a trap.

    They find you on the map and book a clean. You do not need to chase clients or ask for cash at the door.

    Card payment protects the customer — and protects you from unpaid jobs.

    Clean, then mark the job finished in the app. Clear steps, no confusion.

    Stripe Connect is simply how we send money to freelancers. It is a payout tool, not a trap.

    Set up payouts when ready

    You can still appear on the map and take calendar bookings while you learn. Finish Wallet setup when you are comfortable.

Worried about adding a bank account?

That fear is common. On Moppsy, Stripe is only used to pay you for finished jobs. You do not need to “trust strangers with cash.” Customers pay the platform; you get your share after the job. Set it up when you are ready — and ask us if anything is unclear.

We verify every cleaner: first your email, then a short phone call, then a photo of your ID — passport, national ID, or driving licence — plus a selfie. That keeps customers safe — and after that you can take paid jobs.
